Bacon Jam on CornThis is how it works: You start with an ear of corn in its husk. No shucking required. Simply lay your corn in the microwave and set the timer for 4 minutes (If you have two ears it takes 8 minutes, three ears take 12 minutes…). When the bell rings, remove the ear and slice off the stem end about ¼” up from the bottom of the ear. Using a hot pad, grab the end with the silk and squeeze the ear out. It slides out of the husk – hot, steamy and perfectly clean. Too good to be true you say? I promise you, it works! (The market’s assistant manager, Sue Poff, also gave it a try and afterwards sent me a gleeful text about how amazing it was.) –P.S  It works!!  It is MeeMee approved.
